The Cancer Page
Organised medicine is NOT winning the war on cancer. A century ago, one in 33 people had cancer. Today, according to the American Cancer Society, it is more than one in three, and growing. In the mid 1920s cancer was the tenth leading cause of death among children now it is second! In 1950 one out of 20 women got breast cancer, in 1960 it was one in 14. Today it was one in 8. This is not much to show for spending over US$3B per year for research for over a quarter century.
